Report abuse

Did you receive an e-mail or letter with the line “Verstuurd via Resolved namens [bedrijf]” (Sent via Resolved on behalf of [company]) and do you not trust it? Tell us. We will look into it.

What does “Verstuurd via Resolved” mean?

Resolved is software that organisations use to manage their debt collection and case files. An organisation that uses Resolved can send e-mails and letters from a Resolved address, for example [email protected]. Below such a message you will always find the line “Verstuurd via Resolved namens [bedrijf], KvK [nummer]” (Sent via Resolved on behalf of [company], KvK [number]).

Before anything is sent, Resolved checks that organisation's registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). Messages only go out once a Resolved employee has approved that check. The name and KvK number in the line come from the KvK register.

When should you report it?

Tell us if you think a message:

  • is a scam, for example a request to pay for something you never bought or agreed to;
  • is misleading about who sent it, why you are receiving it or what happens if you do not pay;
  • uses the name or logo of a company that has nothing to do with it.

You do not need to be sure that something is wrong. If you are unsure, we are happy to take a look.

How to report it

Send an e-mail to [email protected]. Include as much of the following as you can:

  • the sender's address, as it appears in the message;
  • the date you received the message;
  • a copy of the message: forward the e-mail, or take a photo or screenshot of the letter;
  • the KvK number from the line “Verstuurd via Resolved namens [bedrijf], KvK [nummer]” at the bottom of the message;
  • why you are unsure. A few sentences are enough.

What does Resolved do with your report?

  • We read every report and find out which organisation sent the message.
  • We check whether the message fits the organisation registered with the KvK.
  • If it turns out to be abuse, Resolved can block that organisation's own name and logo, or withdraw the approval of the KvK check. Once the approval is withdrawn, no more messages are sent through Resolved on behalf of that organisation.
  • If we need more information, we will contact you.

Do you trust the message, but have a question about the amount or a payment? Then the company that sent the message is your point of contact.
